When and What will be discussed?

Next meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 28th at House Wine in McAllen. 

The book that will be discussed is “April 1865: The Month That Saved America”.

Before the next meeting please forward me your book suggestions.  
We will be selecting books for the months of July and August.

Here are the books that were selected  for the months of May and June:

May 19th - “The Appointment” by Herta Muller
From the winner of the IMPAC Award, a fierce novel about a young Romanian woman's 
discovery of betrayal in the most intimate reaches of her life.

June 16th  - “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” by Stieg Larsson
Is a serious page-turner rivaling the best of Charlie Huston  and Michael Connelly. 
Mikael Blomkvist, a once-respected financial journalist, watches his professional 
life rapidly crumble around him.
